About You

Many Christians define prayer as a conversation with God. For most, however, that conversation is one-sided with the Christian doing all the talking. They give praise, thanks, repent for their sins and recite their petitions but do they listen for God to speak to them? Stop and think about it, if you are doing all the talking, how does God ever get a chance to talk to you?

You may think your spiritual life is full and whole and that you are living an orderly Christian life but without the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, a real and powerful relationship cannot exist with the Holy Trinity. Without a relationship with the Holy Spirit, the third person of God you are dealing with the first two persons of God only. You are missing the vital link the Holy Spirit provides to your spiritual conversation and connection to God. Just as importantly, if the Holy Spirit does not exist in your life, how can you ever receive his gifts or live a full life with His fruits.

Think about this. When the leader of your country addresses the nation, he is talking to you along with millions of other people. But if that leader sat down face-to-face with you, and spoke directly with you, would that not be so much more special, more powerful? Would you not listen to every word? Would you not say “Wow this great the leader’s words were meant just for me?” Then how more special is it when the creator of the universe, the God that knew you before you knew yourself, the King who has given you unconditional love and the inheritance of the heavens speaks in you, to you and with you? How close to God would you then feel?

Think about it. How could you ever develop an intermit relationship with your spouse or a close friend without talking with each other? There may be times when one feels a close relationship with God without words, but a real and intimate relationship with God cannot develop without back and forth communication involving the Holy Spirit.

And so this Blog “The Whispers To And From The Holy Spirit” is about you and your God. It is about establishing communication with Jesus Christ and God the Father with and through the Holy Spirit. If you already have this relationship, then this blog is about improving and creating a deeper level of intimacy with the Holy Trinity. There is so much love in the Holy Trinity, to which all Christians have access with through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. Thus this blog is about learning to share with Holy Spirit so that a significant intimacy may be present in your relationship with Blessed Trinity collectively and individually. We welcome your participation. Please feel free to ask questions, make comments or to post to our blog.
