 You Have Much More In Me

My love for you
and my people
has withstood all time.
Take comfort in the fact
my love is never-ending
and unconditional.
While in the world’s eyes
and even in your own
it looks as if you are without,
I am bringing you to the point
where all is yours in me, for me,
and with me.
Do not measure what you have
or have not by your own standards.
You have much more in me
then the world can ever gave you.

Dr. Don’s Reflection

The offerings of the world were always enticing to me. I always liked nice things, and it seems I was never satisfied. I always felt I needed more. I came to realize that if I had all the world had to offer, it would not be as much as I could have with nothing else but God’s love.  in other words, God’s Love is worth more than all the world can offer.

God’s love has withstood the test of time, is unconditional and is everlasting. With his love, I feel more comfort and satisfaction than from anything I ever got from the world or could get from it. I have so much more in him than I could get from the world. But knowing this and living this is two different things and, it was for me for many years.

In this Whisper from the Holy Spirit, I am being told that God’s love is everything and I should not measure the greatness of what I have by my standards or the standards of the world. The fact is that if I had only the clothes on my back and God’s love, I would have more than if I had everything in the world without God’s love. It took me a lifetime to realize this, but now that I got it, I now know that I have much more in my Lord than I could possibly have in the world.

Dr. Don’s Comments

In God’s love, you have everything. Without God’s love, you will never be satisfied with what the world offers you, even if you have all it has to offer. With God’s love, you care not what the world thinks or has to offer. That is not to say you will not have and use worldly things but the things you receive will be from God for his purposes and not from the world for your purposes.

Yes, you may have a beautiful home but not to show off but to raise your family. You may have a nice car but not to impress but to be sure you get to work each day or travel to a ministry to serve God. And sure, you could have money in the bank but not to just get rich but have a financial cushion, so you need not stress. God is your provider and protector and all you want and get should be through him and for him.

So here is the bottom line which is spelled out in 1 John 2:15

“Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them”.

If you are not enjoying God’s love now, ask him to send you the Holy Spirit so you can feel for yourself his goodness. Ask him to drive from you the corruption of the world and fill you with the sweetness of his love. You will feel and know the difference immediately. God’s love is the sweetness of life and the peace which you seek.
