WHISPERS TO AND FROM THE HOLY SPIRIT

Created For Good

You are not defined
by your false or by
your failures.
In my sight you
were created
for good and
good, you shall be.
Do not falter
because you sin.
Simply acknowledge
your sin, receive
forgiveness and
then move on
with the good
I have for you to do.
I see your heart
and your relentless
pursuit of being
one with me.
Know that you
shall reach this goal

                                                                                                        Dr. Don’s Reflections

The evil one always wants me to concentrate on my false and my failures.  He constantly reminds me of what I could have done, should have done and all that I have done wrong. He is a constant reminder of the sins I have committed even though I know without a doubt, these sins have been forgiven.  They do not call Satan “The Great Accuser” for nothing.

But I have learned I have to get by these “sin and shame” battles I have with the evil one. I realize that these blame and shame accusations are not of me but from Satan.  Accusations are Satan’s weaponry in the battle for my soul.  I realize I have to fight these battles on a regular basis. In fact, now I look for them. I expect these accusations, and I am ready and able to do battle with Satan through the power of the Holy Spirit.

In this Whisper, God is telling me the exact opposite of Satan. God clearly and lovingly tells me I am not defined by my false and failures.  In his sight I am good, and that is what he created me for. Sure, I am going to fall and sin in my walk with him, but sin is not who I am.  Through the Holy Spirit God is telling me I was created for good and, in spite of the sins, good I will be.

In this Whisper, God does not make a big deal out of sin, Simply, he tells me, when you sin, simply ask for forgiveness and then continue the good I want you to do. This really makes me see clearly, how, man makes such a big deal out of sin in such a damning way. Sin can be damning if unrepented but because God can see my heart and the good in it, he does not get too rattled about sins I commit and for which I seek forgiveness.

I am joyful that the Lord has acknowledged his view of my heart and how intent it is to do good for his glory.  I know he is not going to stop me from doing the good he wants me to do because of the weakness of my humanity.  In his Divinity, I have been saved.

                                                                                                           Dr. Don’s Comments

Do you constantly hear a voice in your head accusing you all sorts of things; A voice that reminds you of your sins or a voice that tells you how bad you are or you use to be.  Do you have a voice that speaks to you only of blame and shame; A voice that tells you how sinful you really are?

As I mentioned above that is not your voice. That voice is the accusing and damning voice of Satan. Guess what?  Satan wants to take you down.  Satan’s major role is to beat you down so far that you feel there is no way you can be redeemed.  The major way Satan does this is through accusation and convincing you that you do no good and you are not good.  Satan’s optimum goal is to drive you to not only a spiritual death but a physical death also.

Thus, if Satan beats on you enough you get depressed.  Depression is the number one cause of suicide and Satan’s major goal in the battle of good against evil.  Tell me something. If you were God would you make something that is bad?  I don’t think so.  God only makes good. So he created you as good. If you have false of failures or sins like me then it is just a matter of getting God to forgive these sins and getting you to forget them. Therein lies the battle. Satan will not let you forget them. The evil one will bring them up again and again, and unless you know how to fight that battle, you are going to lose it. You will surrender to the evil power of Satan instead of the Godly powers of Jesus Christ.

Please read above again what the Whisper of the Holy Spirit said to me.

Simply acknowledge
your sin, receive forgiveness                                                                                                                                                                                                 and then move on
with the good
I have for you to do.
I see your heart

If your heart is right with God he has you labeled good, not bad.  He sees you not as a bad soul falling or failing but a good soul who just slipped in sin. Sin that can be forgiven.

Start seeing yourself in the good light that Jesus Christ sees you in. The only way you can do this is thought the Holy Spirit. You can not do this alone. If you do not have the Holy Spirit in your life ask him in. If you got him in your being then use him in these battles that I am writing about. Realize you are in a war, and as a Christian Warrior you may lose a battle here and there, but you will not lose the war. Salvation will be yours!
