With Faith, All Is Possible

Nothing is impossible
for you with faith.
You can do anything
that is in and of my will
There is nothing
you cannot do
if it is of me.
You can proceed
assured without doubt
that I am with you
Doubt cracks
the power of faith
and causes the loss
of direction and purpose.
I know your love for me
is still present and burning.
However, faith weakened
with doubt is not faith at all

  Dr. Don’s Reflection 

How many times have I doubted God’s will for me and his protection and provision? I ask God to forgive me.  I understand in my heart that nothing is impossible when I have faith and believe in God. I realize I can do anything, yet in reality, I doubt.  Can I do this?  Is this really for me?  Am I reaching too high?  In this Whisper God is making it clear that faith in him makes all things possible.

This Whisper is telling me that there is nothing I cannot do when God is at my side. Yet, many times I proceed with doubt and I get lost. My purpose is blurred, and my direction is altered because of the attacks on my faith by the evil one. Even with doubt, however, I proceed believing that his will, will be done. However, I know that if for some reason I am not following his will, his love is so great for me, he will protect me from myself.

My love now is so great for God, in Jesus Christ and through the power of the Holy Spirit, I realize that doubt may come against my faith but will never enter it. I know that God will bring good from all things that happen in my life, no matter how bad or who is at fault, even me. For those who want his will and live according to it, all good things will come.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              Dr. Don’s Comments

We always want to be sure that we are moving in the right direction.  So many of us are afraid we will move in the wrong direction that we do nothing at all and our life goes by around the will of God.  Do not be fearful of making the wrong decision in the face of the will of God. For if in your discernment of God’s will you move in the wrong direction, he will guide you back.

The critical factor in living a life in and with God is that you move forward.  With God, you will “never be wrong for long.”  He is our protector and provider, and if he knows you are searching for his will in some manner, he will make it known.

However, if you are trying to skirt his will and follow yours, he will let you do that too.  Yes, he will be waiting for you to realize the error of your ways and come to him saying, “Lord, not my will but your will be done.”

Remember doubt comes against faith and when resisted it makes your faith stronger and your love for God deeper. But when doubt enters faith, your faith has been cracked and corrupted.  Pray for the gift of discernment about determining what God wants for you and move ahead knowing that God’s will is best for you
