WHISPERS FROM THE HOLY SPIRIT
Live In Me
When you live and
love in me
you cannot live
a low life.
There may be times
you feel low,
but in me
your life is on high.
Go tell my people
to live in me,
then the lows
of their life
will pass through
my being.
In me your lows
will be brought
on high.
The lows of your life
will find you,
in me, with me
and by me.
Do not look
at your trials
and tribulations
as the world does.
Know that even
if you shake with fear
I am near
and in that closeness
your fear
will be no more.
In me, I will take
you on high
to the throne of
our Father
who art in heaven.
Dr. Don’s Reflection
How many times have I doubted God? Certainly, enough times, that it has taught me not to doubt my God anymore. I pray that God forgives me for the many times I have had doubt. Like a spoiled rich kid, who turns away from his parents and thinks he can live a better life only to find out how low life can really be, At times I have moved away from God in doubt. However, like a loving, caring parent, He waited for my return peacefully and patiently. And through life’s happenings, his call came back to me. He called me back to life on high. No questions asked, no conditions made; in such a profound act of mercy and an endless movement of his love, He convinced me I need not the low life of the world when in Him I can be on high.
He said your inheritance is here waiting for you when you are ready to accept it. When you are free of doubt, my kingdom is yours. God is such a great giver, and I have been such a poor receiver, but now I want all that is mine that He is willing to give to me. But most of all I want Him, my living, loving, giving, saving God and eternal Father.
Are you living a low life? Are you the rich kid that ran away from your Father (God) to end up living more miserably than you ever thought possible? There is a way back to riches. There is a way back to being on high with Christ. Just turn to Holy Spirit and say two words. “I’m ready.” He will be there for you for sure and show you the way.
Dr. Don’s Comments
If you had rich parents your life would be rich also. You did nothing to create those riches, and sometimes you may not feel rich, but the truth is because your parents are rich than you are rich too, and you will not live a poor life unless you choose to do so. So it is with God our Father, He lives on high, and you as his child should live on high also unless you choose not to do so.
However, if you choose to place with God all that comes your way in life, the good, the bad the ugly, he blesses it and takes it on high. He sanctifies it. Whatever it is he blesses it and makes it his own giving it his blessed protection and direction as it is stated in Romans 8:28
“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”
God does not care if what happened to you is your fault or your sin. If you love him and are answering his call, he is going to bring good from it. He will take the low of your life and make it on high. End of story. When you live in God the Father, life is on high and everything that will happen to you we be that way also.
So live in God, do not just love God but live in him in your own way. You must be in him and of him to be on high. In him, nothing is ever low, even the lows of your life in God are brought on high. Through all your trial and tribulations even those that shake you with fear, God is near, and in him, you will live on high and fear will not prevail.
