DR. DON PONDERS – Whispers

Back To Home

The other day I was sitting in church after Mass, and the Holy Spirit gave me these words to speak back to the Lord,

“I come to you Lord not to be who I am but to be whom you want me to be”

I pondered these words and I was amazed how surrendering and peaceful they were. I was OK with these words given to me by the Holy Spirit because they are true to my heart. But understand these words were not of my thoughts, but the words came to me from the Holy Spirit.

These are words that I call Whispers To The Holy Spirit because these are words given me to pray back To the Lord.  The Holy Spirit can teach you how to pray and even give you the words to do so.

Whispers From The Holy Spirit are direct words From God to be spoken through the Holy Spirit to me. Jesus promised this would happen when he told the Apostles upon leaving this earth that he would ask the Father to send the Holy Spirit to the world to teach, comfort, counsel, convict and comfort his believers.

I never know how long the Whispers To and From The Holy Spirit will be, but I am assured of this, every word counts. The Holy Spirit does not waste any words. Something else I can also be assured of is that when I get the Whispers From The Holy Spirit, I know these are not my words. Why, because I know that I cannot speak so spiritually, eloquently, beautiful and powerful. I hear the words and write them down, and I know there can be no another source for these words but the Holy Spirit. It is not my imagination, my creativity, a collection of my thoughts, no, these words are Whispers To and From The Holy Spirit.  Open the ears of your heart and hear what the Holy Spirit is whispering to you. You’re not crazy if God is speaking to you and you to him. You’re blessed!
